SureHouse Open Bible Church in Tacoma, Washington, in partnership with Convoy of Hope, turned their sanctuary into a temporary warehouse so they could host a food drive that began Wednesday, May 6. That day they gave away 443 boxes and 29 bags of food to members of their community including the local elementary school and boys and girls club. The second Wednesday they distributed 252 boxes. They completed the distribution May 20, having given away more than 900 Boxes of Hope.
Gary Wyatt, Sr., lead pastor of SureHouse, said, “The Boxes of Hope from Convoy of Hope are providing much-needed hope from the kingdom of God to our community, and SureHouse is humbled to serve and do our part.”
