Global Missions of Open Bible Churches is happy to announce its new executive assistant, Areli Estrada. Areli, who attends Sunshine Open Bible Church in Des Moines, Iowa, began her new assignment September 27, 2021. She has a heart for the Lord and for God’s work around the world. Areli is also fluent in Spanish, which will be very helpful because Open Bible now ministers in sixteen countries of Latin America. Areli has two teenage daughters in high school.
Areli replaces Michelle Wanat, who had served as the executive secretary since 2014. Vince McCarty, Executive Director of Global Missions, said, “Michelle did an amazing job during her seven years with the Department of Global Missions. Her creativity and dedication to our missionaries and the mission’s work of Open Bible is greatly appreciated. She helped bring the department’s publications and other communications material to the next level. We will miss her enthusiasm, laughter, and joyful demeanor, which are reflections of her love for the Lord. We wish her the best in the new job she has started.”
