Lisa Hansler, devoted wife of Chris Hansler, Pacific Region Executive Director, departed from this life into her eternal home in heaven February 15, 2022.
Lisa was raised in Open Bible and served in ministry alongside her husband for more than 35 years – as youth pastors, church planters, and lead pastors. She was mom to three grown children and worked as a controller/bookkeeper for Tacoma Plumbing and Heating. She used every opportunity to share how God used her battle with breast cancer to continue to reshape her faith in Him.
In one of her latest blogs, she wrote, “I have many conversations with God. As discouraging as things seem at times, He is in control, and I know there is purpose for everything.”
Open Bible President Randall Bach said, “We rejoice for Lisa, who is now free of pain and delighting in her new life in heaven; however, our hearts are sorrowful as we mourn with Chris, the Hansler family, Lisa’s family, and the host of other people who knew and loved Lisa as a sister in the Lord. She was beautiful in every dimension, a treasure to many.”
