Pablo Urra, pastor of Templo de la Biblia Abierta, in Miami, Florida, has been appointed as Open Bible’s new East Sector Hispanic Ministries Director. The East Sector of Hispanic Ministries comprises Open Bible’s Southeast, East, and Central regions.
Pablo lives in Miami, Florida, where he and his wife, Ximena Urra, serve as pastors of Templo de la Biblia Abierta (Open Bible Temple). Pablo is a graduate of Bible and Theology from INSTE. He worked as a store manager for Sherwin Williams for over 28 years. Pablo has visited over 40 countries, serving on short-term mission trips on board Operation Mobilization Ships Logos II. He has ministered with Open Bible Churches, Spanish House Ministries, and Comhina, an organization that provides support and resources to Christian missionaries. He also served as Regional Director with Operation Mobilization in Florida for the mobilization of Hispanic missionaries. He and Ximena helped Pastors Jorge and Magdalena Urra establish Open Bible Church of Kendall in Miami, Florida.
Roberto Seda, who has been serving as our East Sector Hispanic Ministries Director, regrettably had to submit his resignation for health reasons. Roberto has a full life ahead of him but is battling a condition that is making travel exceedingly difficult. We love Roberto and Nancy and pray for complete healing!
In responding to his new appointment Pablo stated:
I look forward to working with the Open Bible East Hispanic pastors in reaching the Hispanic community, encouraging them, and working with them to bring unity among them to accomplish God’s mission.
