Questions About Racial Unity

Open Bible’s Unity Commission consists of people whose hearts are knit together by what God says through Paul: “Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all” (Colossians 3:11, NIV). Commission members are not political but are Word-oriented in motivation and desire. One of the Unity Commission’s roles is to keep before us the challenge of working to break down walls of racial division and prejudice that corrupt relationships and our nation.

Commission members recently provided one-minute videos to present their perspectives on the question “Why is it hard to talk about racial equality?” We encourage you to see what they say by clicking on the link.

The purpose of Open Bible Churches Unity Commission is to lovingly encourage and assist Open Bible ministers and, by extension, churches to be sensitized to the continued reality of racial bias and discrimination.
