The restructured board, November 2021.
In 2021 Open Bible Churches implemented a restructuring of its national board of directors. A priority of that restructuring was tooling the composition of the board to reflect greater breadth with God-designed genders, ethnicities, professions, and life experience. Open Bible is now blessed to have a rich and diverse array of experiences, skill sets, and perspectives added to our national board of directors. In response to that restructuring, the Southeast Region Open Bible Churches’ board of directors recommended the following motion, which was wholeheartedly adopted by ministers and official church delegates at the 2023 Open Bible Churches Convention.
RESOLUTION BY MINISTERS AND DELEGATES TO THE 2023 OPEN BIBLE ASSOCIATION BUSINESS MEETING
We appreciate and affirm the great strides Open Bible Churches has taken to add God-designed gender, ethnicity, and breadth of experience to the membership of the national board of directors. We believe this pleases the heart of God, sends a powerful message of inclusion to all people, and points us toward a preferred future. Therefore, we encourage and urge the leadership of Open Bible Churches to continue to press forward with this quest of greater inclusiveness among members of the national board of directors.
